Outlook & Windows 7

Question

Does someone, PLEASE, have a solution for the problem I'm having with Outlook after installing Windows 7?
"Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC18) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login with Secure Password Authentication (SPA). Verify your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts."
I already clicked on "Repair", reboot, restore point, etc...it seems to work for a short time and then does not work again.
Tks!

MVP Susan Bradley has posted the following. See if it fixes your issue:
A number of users are reporting performance issues with Outlook 2007after installing update 2412171. Possible symptoms include:* Slow performance when changing folders, especially folders thatare in different message stores.* Loss of Archive functionality* Errors receiving mail on accounts that use Secure PasswordAuthentication (SPA)*How Do I Fix it?*At this time the only fix for it is to uninstall update 2412171, whichyou can do in one of two ways:1. Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs. In Windows 7 click "ViewInstalled Updates", find KB2412171 and uninstall it. In earlierversions just make sure the "Show Updates" checkbox is checked and findthe update on the list. This is the best way to do it, as a general rule.- Marked as answer by Cloud_TS Thursday, December 23, 2010 9:50 AM

This is not outlook problem.
you need to check your POP3 account settings/port.
or consult with your email service provider.
