Un-linking subproject is removing cost resource costs RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm using Project Pro 2013 with Project Online and have an enterprise resource pool. I'm trying to create a static master project using a new blank project as master and inserting two subprojects.

When I insert a subproject into my master file all the details look correct. As soon as I uncheck the box to 'link to project' all of the costs that were input against the cost resources in the sub-project disappear, and instead I get a random number of effort in hours. Looking at the resource sheet my cost resources are still listed as cost type.

I've also tried unchecking the 'link to project' box before inserting the subproject, and using one of my current subprojects as a master but neither of these things made a difference.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
