In exchange 2010 DAG ,unable to send external emails. Internal emails are working fine.We are able to receive the emails from other domains.
In one HUB/CAS server the emails are getting stuck
Error message is as follows:
451 4.4.0 primary target ip address responded with:""454 4.7.0 Temporary authentication failure "Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed.Either there are no alternate hosts,or delivery failed to all alternate hosts"
In the queues tab under Delivery type it shows "smtp relay in Active directory site to edge transport server" status "Retry"
Please suggest on this.
Thanks.

Hi Rahul,
Here's an TechNet article about this error, for your reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/979174
According to your description, I notice that mail queued when SMTP relay in Active Directory site to Edge transport server. Please try run Test-EdgeSynchronization to check the sync status for send or receive connector. If it's NotSynchronized, run Start-EdgeSynchronization to re-sync and test.

This is a pretty generic error that tells you that Exchange can't establish an SMTP connection to the destination server.
Try to telnet to port 25 of the destination server from the Exchange server and manually create and send a message.
Enable SMTP protocol logging and look at the logs to see if there are any clues.
