setting group policy RRS feed

  • Hi,

    When enable Removeable disks: Deny read access,

    this policy works for me too, and i can not access removable disks. But i want to deny only other users and not me.

    How can i do that??

  • This can be set as either a User or Computer setting.  To make it so it does not apply to your account: create it as a User Policy and then set the policy to not apply to your account.

  • OK I can through a "how to" together.  Only one question: Is the computer on a Domain?  Just asking because it will change how the Policy is created and applied.  It can be done for both domain computers as well as "standalone"<o:p></o:p>
