Response groups forwarding calls to external numbers RRS feed

  • I am getting into creating response groups for call centers. I have been given an issue of if someone doesent answer the phone in the response group after 15 seconds the call needs to be forwarded to another call center which is not attached to this lync deployment in any way. when i set the "forward to telephone number" i can only enter the number in as905555555@sipdomain.com. the issue is that number does not exist in the deployment on in my snooper logs i get a SIP URI does not exist.

     

    Any way of resolving this,

  • Try it in the format of:

    sip:+190555555@yourdomain.com

    I'm doing something similar with forwarding the IT response group to the on-call mobile after hours and it seems to be working fine.

  • awesome! i was missing the 1 infront of the number. wow i cant believe i missed that! i was entering +9055555555 forgot the 1
