Outlook 2016 search trouble after update - Outlook search stops in certain day RRS feed

  • Question

  • In last few days, different PC with different accounts stop indexing mails, and search results are shown until certain day (different day in different PC).

Installed version of Outlook 16.0.11029.20045; i tried to update again Outlook but it does not fix the problem, i tried to rebuild index and create a new profile deleting old one, but no luck.

    Office version is outlook 16.0.11029.20045.

Has anyone some informations or fixes?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hi BemalCT,

Have you made any changes to Windows or Office before the issue occurred? Is this a recently happened issue since you upgraded to version 16.0.11029.20045?
Does this problem only affect Exchange accounts or occur to all types of mail accounts?

To help narrow down the issue, please try running Outlook in safe mode(Press Win+R, type "outlook /safe", press Enter.) and see if there is any improvement.

Besides, in this thread which discussed a similar issue. The original poster resolved the problem by uninstalling KB4467684. Please have a check via Control Panel > Programs and Features > Installed Updates to see if you have this KB installed. If yes, you may try testing on one machine by uninstalling it to check the result.

    Hope this can be helpful.
