  • I think more apt info will be covered in student or trainers manual if anyone could share the excerpt on Group Management

  • What do you mean by Self Service Group Management?

There are 3 types of groups

1- Manager Based. That is everyone who has as manager the user who is the owner of the group, is added automatically

2- Criteria based. You create the criteria and adding, removing is done automatically

3- Manual. someone adds and or removes users manually.

    What do you need?

  • Try this website to get detailed Information about Group Management with FIM

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee534902(v=ws.10).aspx

I also use the bocks from Kent Nordström (FIM 2010 R2) and David Steadman/Jeff Ingals (MIM 2016)

  • The best free source would be the Group Management with FIM link already provided.  Kent's FIM book or my MIM book both cover group management configuration and scenarios as well and are meant to be a step-by-step  type technical books.  Both books are inexpensive.  If you want a student manual then you need to go take a FIM/MIM instructor lead course.
