Claim Rule: Merge multivalued attribute into one string RRS feed

    Hi guys,

    Do you know if it is possible to transform an incoming multivalue attribute from AD into a single string by defining any given delimiter?

    Assuming the attribute has values [A; B; C] as an array, I want to tranform it into a string like "A,B,C".

    Do they always have the same number of value? Is the value predictable? Part of a set of possible values? Do the values have special character in them like "?" or "!"?

    Hi Pierre,

    thanks, for your reply.

    The number of values can be different for each user and the content isn´t predictable.

    The values include 5 digit numbers without letters and special characters.

    Then there is no rule that can do that. Ultimately a custom attribute store? But that's a lot of work...

    Maybe you can store the information differently or have the application consuming the token parse the claim...
