Deleted WindowsApps folder RRS feed

  • I deleted the WindowsApps folder, thinking I would be able to perform an upgrade, but the setup goes to 99%, then states "Windows 10 failed to install"

    The windowsApp folder stores metro apps information. Why did you have to delete this folder?

    Let us know at which phase you fail, downlevel or first boot?

    To troubleshoot the upgrade issue, here are some tools and logs that you can refer to:

    It is suggested that you can use setupDiag tool to analyze the log files.

    Let us know more information on your problem, and you can help us collect the log file, upload them to a network drive.
