  • Hi Belindabluebell.

Windows Media Player is included in Windows 7 Starter, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise editions: which Windows 7 edition are you using?
Were you able to use Windows Media Player before?
Is Windows Media Player enabled in the list of Windows features (Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off)?

    Bye.

  • Hi,

Could you use Windows Media Player before this issue?

Is there any change before this issue?

If yes, please revert back the changes to see the results.

Please check if you could select Windows Media Player in Turn Windows features on or off. (Control Panel -> Program and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off)

Here is link about getting Windows Media Player for your reference.

    Get Windows Media Player:

And if your current system is Windows 7 N or KN editions, please try to get the Media Feature pack form following link.
