Always get "Incorrect PIN" when trying to use Microsoft Authenticator with personal account RRS feed

  • It's fine with my work account. It sets up with my Hotmail account and I get the push notification trying to log in, but whenever I try to approve it with the fingerprint it just pops up the challenge again, or with the PIN it says "incorrect PIN" every time even though I know it's correct. 

    This is after removing the authenticator from the account and setting it up again. Is there any way to get this working (Android)?

  • If you could not add your Microsoft account by using PIN, I suggest you could try to use your account’s password.

    By the way, according to your description, I test in my lab. My app version is 6.02. My Android Phone version is 7.1.1. It works for me.
