Complete PC Backup fails due to low diskspace - How to delete a set without reformatting the drive? RRS feed

  • Hello

Guess as a Win2000 MCSE I'm too stupid to use the dumbed-down Vista Complete PC Backup tool: I have a 500 GB disk for backup purposes and run every week a complete PC backup since May 2007. Eventually the disk is full. I expected Vista to prompt me to discard the oldest set, but it doesn't.

It just gives me a "Backup failed. There is not enough disk space to backup the data... 0x80780048".

Where and how can I delete some older sets, which I don't need - without formatting the drive?
