sft-server.log Session Setup and Session Teardown entries RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

Our sft-server.log contains a lot of Session Setup and Session Teardown entries.
The same entries are showing up in the Event Viewer and are categorized as "information".
I've changed the SOFTGRID_LOG_LEVEL to 2 in the registry but after that, the entries still show up in the logfile.

2 days after clean-up the logfile has already a size of 1,128 KB.
What do these entries mean and what can i do to prevent this?

    Kind regards,

    Jerome

  • The loglevel associated with this event is 0 (the 0 behind you .sft file). So even changing the loglevel to 0 would include this event in your logs.

The option to get rid of these events is to move away from RTSP protocol. So change to streaming from file(UNC) or HTTP.
