For some reason it is saying "Connection refused" when i am trying to connect my Macbook Pro to my Surface RT through windows remote desktop app. Any help?Tuesday, June 3, 2014 4:45 AM

Inbound remote desktop connections aren't supported on Windows RT. You can connect FROM your surface to other compatible machines, but you can't connect to it using RDP.
If you check out http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/remote-desktop-connection-faq#1TC=windows-8 you'll see that the only versions of Windows 8 that allow you to connect to them are Pro and Enterprise, not RT.
