Windows 10 Pro sign-in image. RRS feed

  • Question

  • we are changing the sign in image on every  PC with windows 10 pro to  be the same.

I  made all changes  in GPO:

    1) I  enabled GPO policy " Apply the default picture to  all users" under Computer configurations-->Policies-->admin templates-->Control panel--> User accounts

Then I  have created a “file” to  be copied in User Configurations-->Preferences-->File

The file (user.bmp) is copied upon user login to  PC path “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures” and overrides the existing file.

When I  restart the PC I  do  not see the image I have created at sigh-in screen, I  see the default image. However when I  click  on start I  can see the new image. when I  go  to  settings, under user info, I  can see the image. why  I  cannot see it at sign-in screen?
