Overrides not working in Exchange 2010 MP RRS feed

    I've just installed the Exchange 2010 MP 14.0.650.7 on our SCOM 2007 R2 server with CU 2. The Correlation Engine installed and is running. We haven't enabled any Event Collection for Synthetic Transaction Rules yet.

    We're not using IMAP4 or POP3 and so we've created overrides for the MP to ignore them but we're still getting Alerts on both IMPA4 and POP3 connectivity transaction failures. What more do I need to do so that we don't keep getting these alerts?

    Overrides work very differently for the exchange MP.  You need to disble the IMAP/POP discoveries and then run the script that removes disabled monitoring entities.  This should defeat the alerts you are getting.
