Upgrading agents doesn't do anything? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am trying to update agents on my SCOM management server to the latest patched version, but the task just says "Started" and nothing happens. I use "standard management server account" defined, which has got permissions.

    Anyway to troubleshoot this?

  • Check your ops db sql server. Seems like you might be dead in the water if it's not even throwing an error.

  • Also please review event log on management server and agent machine to get hint. Moreover, also review default action account whether it has admin right on agent machine.

    Have you tried to disable firewall for agent side computers ?
