API for SCVMM

I am using SCVMM for creating VM, now i have an in house web based application in which i keep all the records for VMs.

I want to know hot to get API of SCVMM so that i can manage VMs from my application.

Normal tasks lik creating, starting, stopping VMs.

There are no programming APIs exposed by SCVMM. However, we do have powershell scripts that you can leverage to handle the tasks that you are talking about.

I just want to point out that the fact that there is no API is the most ridiculous and absurd idea I've ever seen from a software product like this. Powershell is NOT an API. It's Powershell. I shouldn't have to interact with SCVMM by running a powershell instance inside of my C# application. Not only is this a pain in the ass, its also a complete nightmare from a design point of view. Whoever made this terrible decision needs to be fired.
