More often than not, I get the message "Internet Explorer has stopped working" and the box below says "Internet Explorer was closed". Most times the connection I want is not made, sometimes it is. What is happening with my system, should I download Explorer 8 and hope it corrects the problem?

so I would recommend that you post you question to one of the MS Newsgroup, Discussions in Internet Explorer 6 General,
