Remove Exchange 2003 management tools from windows 7 32bit RRS feed

    A windows XP pro machine with exchange 2003 management tools was upgraded to W7 Enterprise. The exchange management tools cannot be un-installed (nor do they work on W7) because the installer will not allow the "Remove" function to be chosen from the drop down list. When selected, the message appears as follows: "The Component "Microsoft Exchange Forest Preparation" cannot be assigned the action "Remove: because: - You cannot install this product on a computer running Windows Professional

    Anyone have any idea how to get around this?

       You can try removing by running setup from cd. You should select change and then selected remove next to the management tools.

    could you try to reinstall the management console on windows 7 and if you succeed then after completion go ahead and uninstall
