Exchange 2003 problem sending email to some hotmail accounts RRS feed

  • Dear Experts,

    I am facing problem sending email to hotmail few accounts, when email sent it is stuck in exchange 2003 queue, keeps re trying but stays there. 

    When same email I send to other hotmail accounts it is delivered immediately.

    Any ideas to trace the root cause for this.

    That is because IP 83.101.140.50 not safe listed.

    Is there any antispam or antivirus in your system, try to disable them

  • check whether the problem is to only your account or all the users.

    check whether you have any smart host if yes then try disabling it and check.

    It seems to be a wired issue as it is not consistent for all Hotmail accounts and so difficult to trace. Have you also checked the transport logs to find anything related?

  • This is an SMTP protocol warning log for virtual server ID 1, connection #3123. 
    The remote host "65.54.188.94", responded to the SMTP command "mail" 
    with "421 PR(ct1) (BAY0-MC2-F29) Unfortunately, some messages from 
    83.101.140.50 weren't sent. Please try again. We have limits for how 
    many messages can be sent per hour and per day. 
    You can also refer to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors.  ". 
    The full command sent was "MAIL FROM:<TCS@sejeltech.com> SIZE=145244  ".  This may cause the connection to fail.

    Yes, find the smtp log generated when ever the email is stuck in queue when those email addresses are on 'To' list

    When I send same email to other hotmail accounts, and I remove all reciepents which causing email to stuck in queue the email is delivered immediately even if I put 3/4 addresses in 'To' and also in 'CC'
