Note to baffled people. DVTS.Kumar is the *new* Display Name - i.e. he has now changed it from what I was objecting to!

  • I believe we cannot do this OOB, can be done using programming.

Use SPListItemVersionCollection & SPListItemVersion to do this using object model

  • > my name is kumar,

    1. Never post your question more than once.

You either post it as a new thread (as here) or you post it as a reply in an existing thread. You do *not* do both. That cause parallel threads and wastes peoples' time. I have deleted that duplicate. It should not be necessary.

    2. Please change your display name. The present one is a problem description not a display name.

(Click on your name in this post and then at the top-left their is an edit profile button (or similar name).

  • Hi Mike,

I've not proposed your reply as answer, not sure how it is happening automatically. I was not even logged in at the time it was Proposed as Answer. Even my "Recent Activity" list does not show this activity. Changed my login password today.

    Hi,

I am reading all versions of the file by using object model and storing the new document library. when i check the version histroy is different from the reading version.

ex: previous versions link 0.1,0.2,1.0,1.1,1.2 after restoring version like 0.1,0.2,0.3,1.0,1.1.

    Please help me.
