  • Hi,

Thanks a lot. I have extended core results webpart in FAST search for sharepoint.

Can you please say me how to sort two manage properties after extending core results webpart.

If I search for a keyword, the results should come in sorted manner based on date. If date is same, then it should take relavancy into account and sort.

Eg:- If "sachin" is there in title for some two documents(doc 1 and doc 2) and "sachin" is there in body for one document(doc 3). All these documents are modified on same date. BUt if we search for sachin, the document in which sachin is present in body(doc 3) is coming first and other two docs where sachin is there in title(doc 1, doc2) will come last.

But I want doc 1 and doc 2 to come first and then doc 3 should come afterwards.

So i need to sort on (date) manage property and then on relavancy(default) manage property. Is this possible after extending core results webpart.

Reference:- In the below post, it is given like we can sort on two manage properties after extending core results webpart

Can you please suggest me how to do. Please any one help me
