  • It could be an update in the packages node or an invalid entry in the unattend.xml file(or customsettings.ini).

    Check through the other logs to see if you can track it down.

  • Make sure you have WAIK completely removed from the machine.

  • Might be a stupid question. But how do i remove WAIK? I do not see it in add/remove.

    In the Start Menu\Programs i only see Windows ADK.

    Thank you.

  • I tried opening unattend.xml and get an error: Non-zero return code from catalog utility, rc = 2002.

    ERROR: Unable to generate catalog on C:\DeploymentShare\Operating Systems\Windows 8 Pro x64\Sources\install.wim: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
       at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.WimImageInfo.PreCreateCatalog()
       at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.OfflineImageInfo.CreateCatalog()
       at Microsoft.BDD.Catalog.Program.DoCatalog()

    Is there a way to check what is using that process?

    Creating a catalog is telling me that this is not a x64 image. But MDT reports it as Windows 8 Pro in Windows 8 Pro x64 install.wim
