I want to make an internet facing list of pages unavailable without deleting them. I renamed the list but the url remains the same. How do I either change the URL or move the list to another sub-sight?
SP 2007
I did a quick check and came across a blog post where someone wrote a console application that you can run on your SharePoint 2007 server that will do it (http://heathesh.com/post/2010/01/28/Change-the-URL-of-a-list-in-SharePoint-2007.aspx), but then saw this blog post that talks about a much more straightforward way to do it via SharePoint Designer 2007: http://blog.solien.com/archive/2009/05/19/changing-a-sharepoint-document-library-url.aspx. That sounds like it would be the easiest way to change that list's URL.

PS .OpenWeb("") keeps it at the root.
