Active Directory accounts not reflecting in sharepoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have an environment where we use ADFS as an authentication provider.

Issue is the accounts created in AD does not get reflected in Sharepoint. We need to create manually each time and there are a lot of them which doesn't make sense to create each time. I don't understand what could be the reason.

And since we are using ADFS, people picker is not an option for us. So I am looking for an alternative to people picker.

Is this possible in any way?

    Please guide me through this..

    Thanks in advance.

  • I know when we use People picker and search for a user, it shows result even if user does not exists in AD.

But what do mean that you have to create users in sharepoint each time. even if users is created in AD.

We just assign permission from sharepoint to users created in AD. We dont create users from AD.

Try below WSP for ADFS people picker
