Touch-Pen Conflict RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a setting in Windows 7 Tablet input that controls response to touches when pen is being used on tablets that accept both pen and touch input.  When I put my hand on the screent to write with a pen, the tablet input window often closes or moves the curser to a new input field.

  • Look for a touch or screen sensitivity adjustment on the device. There may be a setting tool designed by the manufacturer.

  • Thanks Nano Warp.  That helps.  I knew I had seen such adjustments before.  Reading your post, I suspect it is because they are machine-specific, as apposed to being part of Windows.  Problem isn't solved, but that's a new place for me to look for a solution.  In case anyone reading this knows, the machine is a Samsung Series 7 slate running Windows 7 Pro.
