Project Server 2013 to 2016 Upgrade Failed

    Question

  • Hello All;

    I've tried to upgrade from Project Server 2013 to 2016 with following steps;

    - I created a new Project Server Farm (with September 2017 Update)

    - Moved Project and Sharepoint Content Databases to new Database Server

    - Mounted content database to farm

    - Tested content database ( Only error is missing web part - excel with no upgrade failing)

    - Tried to migrate project server database to sp content db which encountered error;

    Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.Upgrade.PSDatabaseSequence failed. Exception: Invalid object name 'SYS.VIEWS'.

    Do you have any idea?
