Is there any significant reason to upgrade to IE10 for Windows Server 2008 R2? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Currently, my Windows Server 2008 R2 box is running IE9.  As a rule, I don't "surf" the web from the server but do connect to Microsoft and Cisco tech sites occasionally so is upgrading to IE10 really worth the effort and are there any real benefits to upgrading?  Just looking for opinions here.

  • It's always good to have the latest browser but outside of that No ie10 is not a necessity at all,

If you only have one machine I wouldn't even consider using or trying ie10 yet, wait until the end of the year when all of the bugs are reported and hopefully fixed and there are quite a few :)
