Generic SQL Connector: DN is not valid on Full Sync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

It was recommended to me in this post to use the Generic SQL Connector to call Oracle stored proc during the run Export profile.

I am currently getting "Microsoft.MetadirectoryServices.ProvisioningBySyncRuleException: DN "MIMTestUser85" is not valid." when I run the Full Sync run profile on MIMMA/FIMMA agent.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this issue or why I am getting this error?

Here is my configuration for the Generic SQL Agent

    Schema1

    Fixed value

    Fixed value list = user

    Schema2

    SQL Query

    SELECT u.USER_ID,
      u.USER_NAME,
      u.USER_PASSWD,
      u.SALT_ID,
      u.STATUS_CDE,
      u.USERGROUP,
      u.DESCRIPTION,
      g.GROUP_NAME
    FROM USERS u,
      USER_GROUPS g
    WHERE u.USER_ID = g.USER_ID;

    Schema3

    Select Anchor for:User

    User:User_name

Select DN attribute for user: User_Name (I also tried to make it different than the Anchor and checking DN is Anchor under Connectivity)

    Schema4

    All Attribute Directions are ExportOnly

    Outbound Attribute Flow

I have Initial Flow Only for dn, User_name

  • I had to concatenate the displayname attribute with "DN=".
