    The windows 8 disk/ Upgrade disk is for only one machine which you can use it on the same machine again but not on another without breaching terms you agree to/ copy rights and only one activation key.

    So the activation is already registered to the other machine.

    Even if the upgrade disk came with two versions/ a disk for 32 bit and another one for 64 bit systems,

    Only one disk can be used.

    You will have to buy another upgrade disk for the other machine.
