unplanned recovery steps unknown in Hyper-v RRS feed

  • please I need to know the unplanned recovery steps in Hyper-V.

    the issue is in reverse replication in unplanned scnario 

    hyper-v installed on windows server 2012R2

    Are there any error messages? Please take a screenshot of the error and upload the images in our forum directly. This will help us troubleshoot your issue better.

    Please note:the primary VM state need to be “Off” .Because it will fail to use a restored copy of a virtual machine as the initial copy.


    In the Replica Server, right-click VM next to select Replication and Reverse Replication.

    In Choose Initial Replication Method dialog, select Use an existing virtual machine on Replica server as the initial copy option next to click Next.
