Cannot Updated adobe Reader RRS feed

    I m using windows XP. when i open pdf file the error comes. "The update server is not responding, which means it might be offline at the moment, or the Internet or firewall settings may be incorrect. Please try again later." But i use adobe 9.3.0 version and updated with adobe reader 9.3.1. when i check the help menu "Check for Updates" the messege comes out "Update is already running". i m using windows server 2003 R2 as a server and on clients using windows XP. how i was to resolve this problem. i have only one network connection "Local Area Connection".

    You can only be installing one thing at a time - the MSI subsystem will not allow two installs simultaneously.

    If a failed install has caused msiexec to hang, or a Windows Update is in progress, another attempt to install something will fail, though I wouldn't have expected the message you saw about the server being offline.

    Is the process msiexec.exe running?

    If it's not a transient condition, try a reboot to clear up the problem.
