Cross forest user migration (Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 Linked mailbox)

  Hi All, We are in a situation,

  We have in forest restructuing by domain1.com(win 2003) to domain2.com (win2008r2). Using ADMT to migrate all users from domain1 to domain2 (target disabled, with sidHistory). We already stated with Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 mailbox migration (due to some bussiness requirement) with target mailbox as linked mailbox.

  Now  we are in a situation where the application needs to be migrated to target( need to enable the target user acccounts). We are using FIM sync services for password synchronization.

  When we enabled the first mailbox which already migrated, the user at source end got disconnected from his mailbox. We have forced to disable the target account and waited for some time to get his access back. I would like to know any migration stategy to fix this? We need to enable all user at target soon (25% mailboxes migrated as linked mailbox remaining still in Exchange 2003 at source doamin). Early responses much appreciated VIPIN VASUDEVAN
