DP Throttling only on weekdays? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Anyway to throttle a DP to only send data to it at 25% of bandwidth except for Weekends when it can go 100%??

I can only see to either close or only allow specific priorities on certain days, or restrict to 25% on ALL days?

  • Nope, there's nothing built in for differentiating between days of the week for throttling. Best you can do is set it to 100% for all days and close it on weekends.

The other way round, but basically correct ;-)

  • Of course, if closed during the week, then nothing gets through (at least in terms of content), so I'd not close it. Best would be to restrict the priority of traffic, then make sure you set your content to the appropriate priority.
