  • Hello,

    What do i have to backup from dpm?

    I know i have to backup the sql database 

    but anything else?

    You could protect the DPM Server BMR and replicas in order to keep your architecture up and running in case of disaster

  • If you want to preserve the replica in case of crash of the DPM Server there are several options :

    - Hosting DPM Data on a SAN

    - Deploying a Secondary Server and protecting the Replica with that secondary

  • so if i backup system state and database i can restore correctly??

  • You could restore but you would loose your replicas if they are stored on the DPM server.

    And protecting BMR is more efficient then only system state.
