  • There are third-party tools for changing passwords.

Look at Advis.ce (which I showed how to use in my 2007 book - I hope the web part is still available) and Bamboo Solutions who I think also had (a more expensive) one.

SP 2010 "FAQ" (mainly useful links): http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx
WSS3/MOSS FAQ (FAQ and Links) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx
Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters

First i am not able to open this site in my network but the site url says, This site is using Form Based Authentication and they are changing the password in database( Not in AD). In FBA, you can create your own authentication providers (Membership and Role providers) to authenticate the users.

I think, this will not help in your case because you are using AD. So try to convenience your boss to buy a tool for it OR even you can also try Ashok Yadala suggestion.

    Hope it could help
