TPM cleared during task sequence when reimaging Windows 10? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Does anyone know if I need to do anything to the TPMs when I'm reimaging Windows 10 PCs with an OSD task sequence?

BitLocker is correctly finishing encrypting the C:, and as the TPM is one of the key protectors for BitLocker (verified with the Get-BitLockerVolume cmdlet), it seems like the TPM works as expected...

However, when I'm logging into Office 365 ProPlus (v1808), I get an error saying,

    "Something went wrong

Your computer's Trusted Platform Module has malfunctioned. If this error persists, contact your system administrator with the error code 80090016.

Server message: Keyset does not exist Keyset does not exist"

This error is occurring on multiple computers for multiple users.

So I'm wondering if I need to include a step in the task sequence to clear the TPM? Or does that already happen in the task sequence by default?
