How to keep outlook configurations profiles when upgrading Office /Outlook packages.

Question
-
Hi Guys,
I would like to automatically keep the user's Outlook profile when I update the package version with a new Office 2010 package. Is it possible to do this even if the Guid of the package is different?
Currently, we have to do a new configuration (autodiscover Exchange), and manually import each PST archive each time for all users, which is not acceptable for so many users.Could you explain how i can do that ?
Thanks in advance

If the package GUID is not persistent across versions, then the virtualised profile (PKG file) will not match the package and therefore settings won't persist across packages. To transfer settings across packages without having to keep versions/GUIDs the same, implement a profile management solution like UE-V, AppSense Environment Manager or Immidio Flex Profiles.
