  • Hi,

    Please follow the steps:

    1.       Create a column in your list for backing up the task status, so that we can compare the new and old status to see if task status changed.

    2.       Create a workflow, check automatically start this workflow when a new item is created, then choose the action to set the back-up field to the status column value and send an email to assigned-to.

    3.       Create another workflow, check automatically start this workflow when a new item is changed. Set the condition that if the status column is not equal to the back-up, send an email to assigned-to and then set the back-up field to the status column value.

    Thanks,
    Emir

  • What version of SharePoint are you using?

SPD 2007 should have an "Else If" branch within it.  Just use this step for each different status.  As for the recipients, this is fairly easy to pick up from the list itself via the "send an email" action.  You can populate that from the entry within the list.
