site collection admin for configuring incoming email setting RRS feed

  • I am working on MOSS 2007.

    I am only the site admin...and want the lists in my site to receive emails. To configure incoming emails on my site, do i need to be the site collection admin or is there any other to configure this? I do not have access to central admin too

  • yes you are correct. You need Central Administration privileges and need to log into Central Administration web site to configure email settings.

  • Yes. The configuration should be done by through central admin and you require the access for that.
