Wireless on my laptop disappeared, Pease help! RRS feed

  • Hello, I am new here, and I am having problems with my laptop, I own a Compaq F739, and just recently, my wireless quit working, I tried switching it on and off, nothing, so I go too diagnose in the network center, and it tells me I don't have a wireless adapter installed, I have only had the computer for 7 months, and I want too know what is going on, and what can I do too fix this.

  • Right-click Computer > Properties > Device Manager in the left pane. Expand Network Adapters, right-click the wireless adapter and select Uninstall. Restart the computer and Windows should reinstall it.

    At same time, you can try to install the latest wireless adapter driver to troubleshoot this issue.

  • if he doesn't have a wireless adapter installed therefor he cannot uninstall something that doesn't exist.
