Operation Manager 7.2.11719.0 Windows 10 Clients performance monitors missing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am missing some performance monitors for windows 10 clients.

Following MPs (for Win10) are installed:

Microsoft System Center Management Pack for Windows 10 (Monitoring)

Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Management Pack for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1/Windows 10

Microsoft System Center Management Pack for Windows 10

Microsoft System Center Management Pack for Windows 10 (Aggregate)

When i check the performance monitors of any server i see all performance montiors
    Server perfomance monitors

and on a win 10 client i am missing a lot - the important one i need would be "% logical disk space free"

    Win10 Performance Monitors

Am i missing a MP? i already removed the win10 MPs and added them fresh, i also did uninstall the agent on the win 10 machines and installed fresh.

Does anybody have a suggestion for me?

    thanks a lot

    michael

  • Hi Michael,

Each individual client Management Pack, when imported, creates a corresponding computer group. Several other groups for client operating systems are defined in the Windows Client Operating System Library. Because this library imports automatically, these groups display in the Operations Console before any client operating system Management Packs are imported.

So if you have not imported a client operating system Management Pack. Instead, an error message displays stating that no group population rule is defined for this group. This is because these groups are created in the client library, but the discovery rules that populate these groups are defined in the client operating system Management Packs.

For this problem, we suggest you download  “System Center Management Pack for Windows 10 Operating System”  and import Microsoft.Windows.Client.Win10.BusinessCritical.xml

    Hope it can help.

    Best regards.
    Crystal

  • i am a step further :-)

I can't get to the properties of "All Business Critical Windows 10" groups to add my Windows 10 machines:
this group can not be modified because there is no group population rule defined for this group
