Updated Application during Task Sequence fails to install RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all

Since a few months i have the annoying problem that new applications that superdense another application are not installed during the task sequence. But after the OS is ready, the application is starting to install it within the Software Center. So the application is correct configured.

Also the tick "Allow this application to be installed from the Install Application task sequence action without being deployed" is active.

The best is: When i create the Application again with the same settings it will work as expected also during the task sequence.

    What could that be?

  • I haven't tried to replicate this issue myself but if you could provide the log files that could be a start. execmgr.log should be able to tell us something.

  • execmgr.log is not involved when applications are installed, but App*.log are.

  • Hi

    Ok. I uploaded the files:

05.09.2013 13:02 until 13:04 was during the task sequence.

05.09.2013 after 13:34 was the installation within the Software Center.

The application "TiNa" and "Java" wasn't installed during the task sequence and after the OS was ready the Software Center have downloaded this Package from the DP. The other packages that are working during the task sequence are on the same DP.
