Home page hangs on closing for one user RRS feed

  • Question

  • Sharepoint 2007- SQL2005 - Medium size. No one else has any problem. I asked the user to clean up the cache, restart her computer. But her problem persists. She has special access to some of the webparts at home page. Any idea?

  • It may be due to following 2 reasons

    1. Incompatible add-ons:  What if you right click the IE icon on the desktop
    and choose Start Without Add-ons?
Or go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
    Explorer (No Add-ons).

  • Thanks for reply It was a system related issue. But, she did not restart her box nightly. I found more of discrepency in our environment desktop at one location. the problem could resolve by using Word 2007 > diagnostic tool.
