  • When I try to turn on Bitlocker on the OS-drive I keep getting this message:

"The boot manager of this operation system is not compatible with BitLocker Encryption. Use the Bootrec.exe too in the Windows Recovery Environment to updateor repair the boot manager (BOOTMGR)."

I am capable of starting bootrec.exe in the Windows Recovery Environment but need further instructions.

    Could anyone please help?

  • Johannes, may I ask you to try this on a vm, to ensure you have a clean system with just win7 x64 with SP1?
