  this error is always presant during the very first round of updates.

  the installation is unerrored, SFC scans clear, chkdsk says the same, the disc is always killdisc'd before and i use the manufacturer S/W to test for drive problems.

  i get this error regularly at my pc shop where im a tech..

  my discs are OEM originals in great shape.

  i used to be msce with XP but i hate vista.

  this disc works fine on some pc's the error is only 1 in 4 -through- 1 in 10 installations.
