Windows 7 Ultimate Backup Retention policy is not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have Windows 7 Professional and I have configured Backup on it.

I tried both the option "Let Windows manager the space used for backup history (maximum 102.46GB) and Keep only the latest system image and minimize space used by backup" to manage space but its not deleting old backup and drive is getting full.

I have to manually delete the old backup.s

Please suggest why these option are not working

    Thanks

    Aarti

  • Windows 7 Backup does not automatically delete old backups. You can use a  script and schedule it.
