  • Hello,

Whenever I try to run a batch file on my computer, a little white box pops up saying  Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\Jamel\Documents\CraftBukkit Server\CraftBukkit Starter.bat Make sure you typed the name correctly then try again

I have typed it correctly and done what it suggested but it won't work. Please Help!!!!

  • To double check the command, try opening a command window and navigating to the folder that contains the batch file.

Open a command window, then type cd.. until the prompt says just C:\>

    Then type cd Users\Jamel\Documents\CraftBukkit Server

If the path is correct, your prompt should now show C:\Users\Jamel\Documents\CraftBukkit Server>

    Type Dir

You will now see a list of all files and folders. Find CraftBukkit Starter.bat

  • you probably need to add quotes around it since theres a space in the .bat name

so just type in this once your at the path

    "CraftBukkit Starter.bat"

To run it from the full path do...

    "C:\Users\Jamel\Documents\CraftBukkit Server\CraftBukkit Starter.bat"

  • Ang101 is correct. If the file to run has a space in the name, you need to put it in quotes.

After navigating to the correct path...

    C:\Users\Jamel\Documents\CraftBukkit Server>"CraftBukkit Starter.bat"

  • Hi,

If the file to run has a space in the name, you need to put it in quotes.

    C:\Users\Jamel\Documents\CraftBukkit Server>”CraftBukkit Starter.bat”

    Hope that helps.
