Configuring IIS "Output Caching" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to PowerShell and have been trying to find a way to configure the IIS 'outputcaching' setting.  I have gotten as far as loading the web-administration module but I am having no luck at all finding a way to get the outputcache property using get-webconfigurationproperty.  I've been looking around and cant really find anything on this and the books I have dont have any information about the webadministration module.  Just wondering if anyone out there has been able to modify this setting through PowerShell.  Thanks again.

This is something I tried but I'm not sure if I'm even working in the right direction.

    Get-WebConfigurationProperty -Filter //outputcaching -PSPath 'IIS:\Sites\Default Web Site
